Leaves plenty of room for a restructure too. Unless it’s just the dollar amount, which is high unless Cooper is going to play on-point for most of the deal (which he admittedly hasn’t shown to be able to do on a consistent basis). Nabbs4u
Its basically a two year deal where Jerry can blow things up if Dallas doesn't get it done with that Trio by 2022. Actually makes a lot of sense from a Dallas perspective TBH. They're basically using Two different Franchise Tags. One on Dak ,one on Cooper.

Is Jones really the type of person who wants "just save face" if things go south? History points to him doubling down on every single one of his decisions no matter how wrong they are.

Oh he's as stubborn as they come. Jason Garrett lasting as long as he did as the HC proves that. However the way this contract appears to be structured looks to give him that easy out if Cooper 💩 the bed at any point after 2021. Anyone honestly see Zeke finishing his entire contract out at 400 touches a year without a restructure? I don't,. He/Stephen are intentionally Franchising Dak right now so that they have an out if "Next Year" doesn't go as planned. Kirk Cousins / Washington Style. Do We Franchise him Again? Or Extend? Apparently the $35M Question they don't want to answer. Edited April 8, 2020 by Nabbs4u
Kiwibrown
Alot of coin for a 1100 yard wr. Tyler Boyd is on half that or less.

Tyler Boyd would be a 500 yard receiver on any other team. He's on that Doug Baldwin infinite time to run a route mode.
