The Gnat
We have the draft thread, but I think that we can keep that for talking about positions of need, player fit, and why we likely won't be drafting Diggs anymore. So I'm going to go through and do a Vikings mock draft and feel free to add your own and we can discuss the drafts here without spamming them into the draft thread. 1.22 1.25 2.58 3.89 3.105 4.132 5.155 6.205 6.207 7.239 7.249 7.253 For those who need the pick numbers like I do. The Gnat
1.22 - Josh Jones, OT, Houston 1.25 - Neville Gallimore, DT, Oklahoma 2.58 - Jaylon Johnson, CB, Utah 3.89 - Collin Johnson, WR, Texas 3.105 - Bradley Anae, DE, Utah 4.132 - Ben Bartch, OG, St. Johns 5.155 - Nevelle Clark, CB, Central Florida 6.205 - Matthew Wilkerson, TE, Edwards Waters 6.207 - Kamal Martin, OLB, Minnesota 7.239 - McTelvin Agim, DT/DE, Arkansas 7.249 - La'Darius Hamilton, DE, North Texas 7.253 - Devin Duvernay, WR/RB, Texas I think that this would be decent draft to start rebuilding and we could slide in Rieff to G if we wanted with it. Heavy on restocking the DL.

Snake Plissken
I like the first 4 picks. I would say another WR is needed unless the need is filled in FA.
meixdaddy_10
Just did my unrealistic Mock Draft on a site that shall remain nameless. They have the pick numbers different, though i'll trust you're right. I'll list what they have. 1.22 - DE AJ Epenesa, Iowa (too good to pass up, insurance for Griffen and long term building block) 1.25 - CB AJ Terrell, Clemson (Dont think Zimmer lets us get out of RD1 without a CB and all the good OT's were gone) 2.58 - DL Neville Gallimore, Oklahoma (Dont think he drops like this, couldnt pass up) 3.89 - OT Prince Tega Wanogho , Auburn(see above comment) 4.132 - WR Tyler Johnson, Minnesota (Not a burner, but runs great routes and can win contested throws very well) 5.167 - DL Davon Hamilton, Ohio State (to replace Joseph) 6.201 - QB James Morgan, Florida International (need another developmental QB, should take one every year imo) 6.205 - CB Michael Ojemudia, Iowa(too good to pass up, great size) 7.219 - WR Dezmon Patmon, Wash State 7.249 - TE Jacob Breeland, Oregon 7.253 - S Rodney Clemons, SMU Will admit the last few picks i know very little on, but we need bodies at those spots. Can get more S depth through UDFAs like we've done pretty good at with Zimmer. Didnt like waiting on OL that long, but was hard to pass up the talent and still grab a CB like i think we will. Hoping we can restructure Reiff and get Bailey and Griffen signed. Bailey has to be priority 1 i think?
cconocool
I was going to write down some draft thoughts in a separate thread, but here seems good. We want the teams ahead of us to draft QBs and RBs so that leaves us with more positions we need. We also want the teams above us to sign CBs, OL, and DL so that reduces the chances they take one. I don't want us to take a WR in the first round.

Heavy on restocking the DL. I would love the first two picks if they do indeed move Rieff but honestly not sure he could play guard and if not drafting Josh Jones is a massive issue. Gallimore I would love and Jaylon Johnson would be a solid corner. No way I would draft Collin Johnson that high, he is way too stiff I feel for a receiver. Ozzy
This is currently how I have it playing out but it changes constantly with who is signed where which changes a lot of the board. Not a huge fan of how it all falls, and not a huge fan of Fulton I would rather have Terrell but he might be gone. Jefferson would be nice to get but he easily could be gone by that time as well. Reagor would provide a lot of special teams help and is a burner and a great athlete, and Green Bay would draft him if he fell that far so would be nice to take him away. Wish the Vikings were in need of a QB they could arguably get Love or Herbert potentially. Especially if the Chargers and Carolina are out of the QB game. Would love to make a run at Wirfs but not sure a team would do it. Included it all to give some perspective potentially on who is around and what other teams might want to get. 1st 1. That would be great but sadly the better OG guys are more 2nd rounders, could get a DT potentially but could be a little high for them as well. I would not mind trading back to get multiple 2nd rounders and one could get WRs and OL and DT in that spot for cheaper money. Quality CB might not be in the 2nd round though so might have to take one 1st round before they are gone.

Based on other teams moves I have changed a little around since then but it is still pretty close to the same at the top. Getting two receivers could totally happen because then if one busts you have the other. But Reagor would help a ton on special teams and give us a much needed deep threat. Jefferson would be more the guy who you could move around to a variety of spots and CB is an absolute need but yeah hopefully the board falls differently than this. 22. True, could go Raekwon Davis or James Lynch maybe, but OT they need to address the Reiff contract stuff before I think they go full OT with him, Udoh and O'Neill still there. Peart could fit the backup OT spot athletically and is more mobile than Udoh. Udoh and O'Neill are both RTs arguably but maybe O'Neill is a good enough athlete to be moved to LT. They need a deep threat and Jefferson I would not call him that, they also need a punt return and or kick return guy and Reagor is absolutely that and a deep threat as well. Will it happen, who knows but only way they do not draft two receivers is if they have crazy faith in Beebe and Bisi. I would like them to get some size so possibly Tee Higgins or Shenault could give them that but not sure I would take them 1st round. Mims I would not mind either if Jefferson is not there, and 3rd or 4th round if they do go DT or OL in the 2nd, Gandy-Golden I would love, or Claypool, or Bryan Edwards or Pittman. So they got options and maybe 2nd round will not happen and they will take another one in the third that provides more size and or jump ball ability. I do wish the board fell different and hopefully some things at the top can make that happen.
