Lewis was the 57th rated guard last year...... well below average! So we get an project OT and keep a terrible OG...... WTF is going on, I'm in a nightmare
Bobby816
This was expected. Hopefully he improves

KingOfNewYork
It was his first year back playing and he played well. He also didn’t get any help at Center so McGovern should help a lot.

Also his penalties, mostly holds are on him. Brick wasnt nearly the same when we replaced Faneca with Ducasse and then all those other bums.

KimuraGod
Going to say it now... Alex Lewis will play at a very high level this year (Barring injury) When he first came into the team and was healthy he was our best lineman in my opinion. Having better players around him will help immensely too. Edited March 18, 2020 by xenajets
Kyu
It's a one year deal. He'll have a rookie behind him ready to go if he stinks or gets hurt. I can live with that going into the year. Maybe he's the first JD gem.
NYJets4716
Injury prone and rates out poorly. Hes more of a backup player.

One, two, or (God forbid) three bad offensive lineman completely nullify having elite players. Brick and Mangold were both elite players on the OL and when we had Adrien Clarke it made them look like a potential issue going forward. It's about identifying which players are causing that group problem and replacing them with ones who won't. We don't need Orlando Pace and Steve Hutchinson, we just need players who don't drag everyone else down.
