Lionized
Former Pats’ defensive lineman Danny Shelton is signing with the Lions on a 2-year deal for $8mil, per @RosenhausSports .
Sllim Pickens
I like the move. He isnt the top of my list but is a solid DT to plug into the middle and again, knows the system. But again feels like we are NE light and that tends to be how our seasons play out. But the money isnt bad for what he will bring.
TL-TwoWinsAway
It's a scheme fit thing. It makes sense that we're signing players from a team that run the same scheme.
Lionized
4 m/yr vs 13.2m/yr I see this as an absolute win. Edited March 18, 2020 by Lionized
Superduperman
26 years old, 2 yrs for $8m, I can't complain. He isn't the player he projected to be when he was drafted but it isn't bad.
LionArkie
I marking this day down on my calendar as the first where I've seen the first several posts not condemning life as we know it. Did we all agree this isn't a bad signing? The end is definitely here.

How could he... fill a need... with a proven scheme fit.... at a reasonable cost.

It’s a body to plug a hole in the roster. Neither positive or negative. Sorry I don’t share your excitement for a handful of signings only two of which offer any reasonable hope for improvement. Year after year the same posters act like cheer leaders which is fine. We don’t all share those views. Unlike the Lions even a blind squirrel finds the occasional nut.🤠 For the most part these actions are likely to be meaningless because there’s little likelihood the next season is played anyway. detroitroar
Well we've added 3 upgrades along the front 7. I'd still like an edge threat especially with Kennard released. Not happy with what we've done on offense though.
