Cheesehawk
Gotta be honest, love what the Bears are doing this offseason
HTTRDynasty
Jags will sign Colt McCoy and inevitably start him over Minshew at some point this season. It's what Gruden was programmed to do.
Danger
Foles isn't fantastic, but I fully expect Allen Robinson to eat. Foles loves that big X type of receiver.
SkippyX
I am so happy for Foles now! Jacksonville was a terrible fit for him. Not on him, not on them, just a bad combo. Now they get to see what Minshew will be and Foles gets a chance to play in Chicago. Great deal for the Bears since he's fairly cheap without the dead cap money

It's what Gruden was programmed to do. If that happens it's fine (if Minshew plays poorly enough to warrant it). Lawrence or Fields next year, hello. Theyre going to be tremendous for each other. They really need to improve that OL though.
Chiefs_5627
Bears had to do something as a failsafe for if/when Trubes goes Trubes.

You won't get Lawrence unless you A) play bad enough to end up with the worst record in the league or B) the Chiefs inexplicably end up with the worst record in the league. If he doesn't and he flops, clean house and use all the pick capital next year to get our guy. How would all of the pick capital you have this year help you get your QB in next year’s draft? If the Colt scenario happens, why wouldn't 1st overall be possible? Just now, Ray Reed said: How would all of the pick capital you have this year help you get your QB in next year’s draft? They got a 1 and 4 next year in Ramsey deal. Plus, we're not keeping 12 picks this year.

He's just good enough to get a random win or two when you least need/want it.

They have two firsts next year too. And teams with this many picks in one draft almost invariably trade at least one for a future pick.
