I'll be interested to see what kind of deal they worked out as far as Foles contract goes. Like I said before it could be worse. The best of it is Foles knows how to operate the offense and has had previous success with it in Philly so as far as competition goes both he and Mitch should be on fairly equal footing. I would have preferred Dalton but with the league shut down for who knows how long having a vet who knows the offense well enough to run it from day one makes sense. They all agreed they had to do something to get competent QB play regardless of the cost. That is pretty telling of what will happen to Mitch this season. Mitch needed competition, and Foles has at least demonstrated at times in his career to play at a high enough level to get it done. What will be funny, is when we still draft Anthony Gordon, and he, like Minshew, ends up beating Foles out.
