And you need to look at what this is moving forward:

1. 2020 hedge to Trubisky

2. 2021-2022 bridge to rookie QB

3. Takes over the starting job and doesn't look back

That's win/win/win in my football world.

As long as he plays average football.

If he doesn’t play at his Philly level then none of the win/win/win scenario works

I have. He's our Alex Smith, but with better numbers and playoff skins on the wall in this system.

I hope your right.

He very well could be. He has had success in the system.

If we want to recreate his Philly success we should probably get an OL and a running game to help.

You'll see an investment at RG either via FA or a high draft pick and a focus on getting Montgomery the ball 15-20 times per game.

If they don't, Nagy should be shot.

A 2nd round OG will improve the line but hardly make it into what Philly had. We missed the free agent window to really make a difference on the line.

Nagy running the ball.. who knows we can pray.

Pick #140, to me, is not a major resource. Pick #147 is in the 5th round.

It is when it is your 3rd highest pick and you team has a dearth of picks from the Mack trade.

The money alone (15 mil) could have been Hooper and Glasgow. You need him to be the good version of Foles other wise that is a big sunk cost.

This move will largely come down to what version of the QBs show up.

We have seen both these guys be very bad.

We need one of them to be average (best chance Foles) or better than average (remote, but best chance Trubisky)

All kidding aside, I'm more curious to see what Nagy's offense is going to be in 2020. If it's more of the same, I think Trubisky is done. If he looks more at what the Titans did with Tannehill...

Every game Nick Foles has started under Andy Reid or Doug Pederson:

14 regular season games started:
- 3,480 yards
- 63.8% completion
- 18 TD, 9 INT
- 6.5 yards per attempt

2019 Mitch 14 games

-3,138 yards

-63.2%
-17 TDs, 10 INTs

-6.1 yards per attempt

My biggest fear is that Nagy will stubbornly stick to the “system” again. Half the offense can’t run it.
