uk9erfan
Mike Person signed a 3 yr 9 million dollar deal last March. If we cut him, what would the forfeit be in cap money? Actually there would no forfeit of cap money would there. But we might have to pay some of his remaining salary. So Person probably stays and Skule gets cut. Unless some team is nuts enough to take on Person's contract. Wrong again. NFL players contracts, are not guaranteed. So we could cut Mike with no forfeit. He's not exactly breaking the bank.

Yep good points and he was playing well but our interior line play was an area of weakness in the playoffs so Brunskill may beat him to the starting role next season. But he does know our scheme well and keeping him would mean not having to teach someone (potentially from scratch). But if we spot an upgrade in the draft the FO could be tempted. This would likely depend on us trading perhaps that number 31 pick for extra picks. I'm rambling a bit so I'll stop.
