I'd much rather focus on building the roster around Minshew/QB position. Right now it's Chark and little else with below average pass protection. 

Next year the Jags will still have ammo to move up if need be.

But who’s to say the teams up there won’t go QB

You got Lawrence and Fields and who else??

what if the top 2 teams don’t want to trade down???

The Jags have had good teams before and they come and go. Go get you a real QB and you’ll have a player you can always build around. 
 

when you have a franchise QB you can actually build in free agency more because players who want to win will come play for you. Go get you a real QB finally man

I know Minshew was a 6th round pick and has traits that people question, but last year with a depleted roster he had a lot of very impressive moments. I think he's warranted getting a shot to allow this to be his team.

I think we'll explore QB, but Tua behind this OL as currently constructed sounds like a nightmare. It would also cost a lot of capital to move up to 3 and with all the holes on the roster I just don't see us doing that. 

Add in the fact we didn't blow it up and kept our previous GM/HC who likely need to hit a certain threshold win wise to keep their jobs...
