Broncos waive QB Joe Flacco

Definitely one of the worst ever moves by Elway.  A statue QB in a scheme with an iffy OL and an emphasis on mobile QB's.   At least it only cost us 1 year of $.  But yeah, the 4th was such a waste of resources, even recognizing that 4th round picks only have a 20-30 percent hit rate to get a 2nd-contract starter.    This had a 0 percent chance of working out, total desperation win-now move back then on a team that didn't have win-now hopes.

At least we don't have to entertain the same type of bad choices now.   Even if Lock doesn't work out, the simple fact we have hope means we don't have to go down this fool's errand path.

Yeah the Keenum and Flacco signings were two of the worst moves of his tenure. Most around here said as much when they were made.
