Mock Based on FA so Far

As of now, i think we have a pretty good idea of how FA will shake out. JD seems slightly apprehensive to give big guaranteed money at this point. It may be that he wants to build through the draft or he plans on taking his shot on HIS guy.

I dont think we make a play on any big name FA's.

Rest of FA:

-Resign Robby Anderson to a 3 yr, 40 mil contract (11 mil a year cap hit). The deal can be easily voidable after year 2.

- Jets sign Jimmy Smith, CB to a 2 yr 16 mil contract. (very little dead money in 2021)

- Jets Nickell Roby-Coleman, CB to a 3 yr 28 mil contract

- Jets sign Everson Griffin, Edge to a 1 yr 10 mil contract.

Trades:

Jets trade 1st (#11) and 3rd (#79) to Jacksonville for 1st (#20 via rams) and Yannick Ngakoue (Edge)

Jets trade 1st (#20 via Jax/LAR)) to New Orleans for 1st and 3rd (#24 and #88). New Orleans moves up for its QB of the future. Brees may be back for another year but they may jump on a guy like Jordan Love/Justin Herbert if either start to fall.... Jets win this on trade value chart but only because i think teams are willing to lose on value when it comes to QB's.

Jets trade 3rd (via Giants #68)+ 3rd (via NO #88)  to Philly for 2nd (#53) and 4th (#127)

NFL Draft:

1 #24 (via Jax/NO)- Josh Jones, OT, Houston

2 #48- Denzel Mims, WR, Baylor

2 #53 (via Phi)- Jalen Raegor, WR, TCU

3 #79- Robert Hunt, OL, Louisiana

4 #120- Darney Holmes, CB, UCLA

4 #127 (via Phi)- Anthony McFarland Jr, RB, Maryland

5 #158-Jonathan Garvin, Edge, Miami

6 # 191- Harrison Hand, CB, Temple

6  #211 (via NO)- Kendall Coleman, Edge, Syracuse

Who are we cutting because no way does fit under the current cap.

I didnt include cuts as we have 25mil in space plus another 20 in easy cuts (i.e. winters ect).

Truthfully,  we should no issue fitting this in the cap without losing anyone we plan to move forward with.

I should point out of the FA signings, the only one that should hurt the cap in guaranteed money is Anderson.
