Thanks guys! This sounds AWFUL to say, but at this point, it was a blessing. She was in a lot of pain/discomfort, and her quality of life was nonexistent.

Not awful at all.

Am I seriously the only one here who thinks all this smoke over China's dishonesty is tinfoil conspiracy theory?  Like really?

"Oh, it's his job to smear China..."

Okay.  Whatever.  Sure.  Biased source.  Whatever.

Now what about all the stories of whistleblowers?  What about the literal whistleblowers with literal video of them literally blowing the whistle?

Is it the job of Chinese doctors to smear China?

Just searching Chinese Whistleblowers on Google, the LEAST conservative search engine (not that this is about conservative/liberal, I just feel like people are accusing me of pushing conservative propaganda when that's not even what I'm trying to do), here are the first page results:

https://theweek.com/speedreads/900488/chinas-coronavirus-recovery-all-fake-whistleblowers-residents-claim

https://www.voanews.com/science-health/coronavirus-outbreak/where-investigation-report-coronavirus-whistleblower

https://www.npr.org/sections/coronavirus-live-updates/2020/03/19/818295972/chinese-authorities-admit-improper-response-to-coronavirus-whistleblower

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/mar/11/coronavirus-wuhan-doctor-ai-fen-speaks-out-against-authorities

https://www.whistleblowersblog.org/2020/03/articles/whistleblower-news/report-suggests-if-china-had-listened-to-whistleblower-95-of-coronavirus-infections-could-have-been-prevented/

That's not me picking and choosing links, that's literally the first page.

And now one of them, Ai Fen, is allegedly missing.

But "oof" and I'm irresponsible for posting whatever publication I posted a link to when Yahoo had nearly the identical article?

Like you're going to harp on the link when the exact same information is in more reputable sources and you're really going to try to harp on the link?

I wouldn't waste the shelf life of the amount of strokes your fingers have left to type this stuff out.

They already know who their going to blame when this is all over. And if they can swing it they will also say he created it too.

As someone who has watched numerous loved ones suffer for years from diseases like Alzheimer’s and ALS, it’s not awful at all to say. Sometimes death can be a blessing.

key take aways from this article:

1. there is a sustained slowdown in rate of new infections consistent with the MoL theory of seasonality and that the spike last week was due mostly to travelers returning with COVID before border closures - this despite more testing in Australia than in most other countries, so in theory they should be seeing a bigger uptick

"Australia reported a sustained fall in the rate of new coronavirus infections on Tuesday, but officials urged people not to become complacent and stressed the need for further strict social distancing policies."

2. it also appears the MoL is correct about low CFR

"Based on the completion of more than 230,000 tests, the death rate for Australian cases was below 1 per cent, significantly under the 10 per cent being reported by some other countries and suggesting “early promising signs of the curve flattening,” Hunt said."

This seems like you’re trying to make this political. Maybe don’t do that. Some of us would actually like to post in this thread without it being locked.

As well suggests I think that when I specifically stated I don't think that.  Maybe quit being an ***.

Lol and they're not? Based up "who" wrote an article as to whether to believe it or not?

That'll be my last statement on it though.

I think Pittsburgh will come out of this in decent shape do to having a good amount of hospitals we have for our population. however we do have a older population walking around with bad lungs do to years of bad air from the steel mills.
