I expect the Bengals to trade out or straight up trade Burrow after selection for the Dolphins picks and more. Maybe, as the article suggests, they acquire the fifth overall pick and go with Herbert instead but at the time of this mock I hadn’t thought about that at all because Simmons to me would be the crown jewel on a good defense from here on out in Cincinnati and be the player to combat Lamar Jackson within the AFC North.

Of not taking Burrow?  1000000000%

As an outsider looking in, I do this in a second if I'm the Bengals. At least 3 1s and Rosen for the 1? Plus you pick up Simmons who could end up being the best player in this draft. I know all of you Bengals fans have convinced yourselves to fall in love with Burrow, and that's understandable, he had an amazing season, but he's still very much of an unknown who could end up being a one hit wonder. Your team is more than a QB away and getting an influx of young talent would be better for you, My 2 cents.

You liv in the area right?  So you are saying Mike Brown, lover of QBs, is going to pass on the best one in years?  The same Mike Brown who once famously, and foolishly, turned down multiple first round picks and an entire draft of the Saints to take........Akili Smith?

We both know how this one is turning out, so I'll let it rest
