Someone needs to tank for Trevor and I can't see a better fit than an LA team struggling to build a fan base.

Grab the franchise LT.

I feel like Tyrod with their weapons/D would be better than a handful of other teams.

I dont think the chargers have any interest in love either. I think they take the best OT on their board.

Would not be surprised one bit if they went OT. I’m 50/50 they either trade up for Tua or take a OT at 6. I think Herbert and Love could tumble to the late teens.

Something like Love at 19 to the Raiders and Herbert at 23/24 to the Patriots/Saints.

Both have been severely propped up by the media, even though I really like Love.

Thats how I voted. OT or Simmons (purely as a value pick which the Chargers have been known to make more than other franchises). Maybe they love Herbert but Telesco has shown a good eye for talent and the availability of Dalton/Newton/Jameis I think swings the pick towards building the roster rather than QB.

I'm similar.  I can see a definite scenario where the coach prefers one and the GM prefers the other - and that Tua is the medium on which they can both agree but Miami has more ammo so if they want him and determine they'll pay the price, they'll get him.  Telesco has always struck me as the non-confrontational type, just my gut.  So I could see them taking an OT (or Simmons) and punting the QB to later in the round (basically adopting the "oh so successful, Old Browns approach" of see who falls to the 20's and trade up to go get them) in order to make the decision for them.  It's the sort of move that's typical Chargers... it could either payoff massively if they get the QB selection right (i.e. the right guy falls to them) or absolutely blow up in their face by saddling them with the wrong QB for another 2-3 years while costing them time off Bosa/Derwin's primes.
