Man...that isn’t a great return. A 5th round pick? Yeesh.

Dunbar, when he played, was a highly rated cover corner.

Makes you think about what Trent Williams will get back. A 3rd maybe? A 4th?.

Just wait til we trade back from the second pick and get a 3rd and 4th rounder out of it. Hopefully this doesn’t turn into a BOB situation here.

Dunbar played in seven games in 2018, starting six, and started all 11 contests he played in last year.  He will also turn 28 when training camp is scheduled to begin, and a new team is likely going to have to give him a fairly decent extension.

Put yourselves in the shoes of the Seahawks for a minute, or imagine the Redskins are trading for a player similar to Dunbar........is this really a bad deal?  Without much leverage here, and how trades usually work in the NFL, it's par for the course.  Maybe trying to get back a future seventh rounder but that's about it.

We shouldn't have traded him. He had no choice to play under his current contract this year and couldn't afford to sit out the season, unlike Trent. And, if Dunny had played great this year then we would have re-signed him next March, franchised him and then could’ve gotten a 2022 comp pick that could’ve been higher then a late 5th.

Bad, bad trade! I hope we sign Breeland now!

We should have just kept him rather then giving him away, that was the best option. I said it was the best option since Dunny first demanded he wanted to be traded or get a new contract a month ago and keeping him was still the best option.

If we aren’t tanking then we’re doing a very bad job at trying to become good.

Trading away a player who says he won't play for you isn't exactly tanking. It's mutually parting ways. Will you say the same when we trade Trent?
