Danger is, of course, an occupation hazard of being in the Justice League. Tonight, however, it’s going to claim the lives of some of its more careless members. @SwoleXmad is returning home after his closest shave with death since…well, probably the Charlton days. He enters his apartment through the usual back entrance, safe at last. At least, until he sees the glowing eyes piercing through the darkness. He tries to duck back out the window, but his enemy is on him in a flash. With his superior strength, he crushes the life from Xmad, squashing him like the bug he is. SwoleXmad is dead. He was Blue Beetle, JLA Aligned. As the figure leaves the now-vacant home, it grabs Xmad’s tool belt, scooping it up and slinging it around their own waist. Across town, a blonde figure wanders in frustration. This wasn’t where they wanted to be…but then, things have a way of working out for the best. As he looks up into the sky, he sees a @The Orca drifting through the glass canyon, heading God knows where. Perhaps this Night would not be a total waste, after all. With a powerful leap, the bare-chested man runs up and along the nearest building, quickly ascending to a point where he can leap out and grab the unsuspecting Orca. Then, he raises his left hand and impales his foe on the hook there, like a hunter trapping the sea creature of the same name. The Orca is dead. He was Sinestro, Legion of Doom Aligned. @squire12 drops to the ground, a bloody but good deed well done. His moment of celebration, however, is cut short. He doesn’t see his longtime foe, black armor shimmering and new, blast him from behind. The figure raises a fist in victory, then leaves the smoldering corpse for others to find in the morning. Squire is dead. He was Aquaman, JLA Aligned. It is now Day 2. With 19 alive and 19 voting, it's 10 to lynch.
