Unfortunately they upgraded at the QB position this off-season and may actually be a competitive team again.

Key words " as a saints fan" Bridgewater is not an upgrade over Cam

Cam Newton hasn't looked good in at least a few seasons with the Panthers. He obviously had the great season in 2015, but it has been a downward spiral since then. He is not nearly as mobile as he once was, which has limited his effectiveness, and his accuracy throwing the ball has shown to be all over the place in recent years. Between them being in the Saints division and being a huge Christian McCaffrey fan, I've seen a ton of Cam Newton the past few seasons. He is nowhere near the player he once was. Teddy Bridgewater on the other hand looked accurate, poised, made good decisions with the ball, put up quality numbers, and helped lead his team to an undefeated record last season. Bridgewater doesn't have to rely on his athleticism to be an effective QB, and showed plenty of arm talent last season to be a quality starter in this league. Welp We are going to see this season Teddy is going to an inferior offense (other than RB) But IMO 80% of Cam is still better than Teddy
