As another poster said, he’s likely competition for return duties while also doubling as veteran depth to a young WR corps who knows Shanny’s system. Oh ok in that case he isn't all that bad. He isn't much as returner either. He hasn't been good since fielding a punt backwards against New England in 2017. Most fans assumed that we were looking at guys like this (or Dorsett), as we are all assuming that Goodwin gets the ax any day now. We don't have any vertical receivers like at all, unfortunately.
