I don't have the energy to explain his game or try to understand his fit in Packer's defense.  Changing the photo colors really took it out of me.

I am a big fan of Davidson's ability and personality throughout my research.  Here are the articles I viewed that convinced me of this pick

Marlon Davidson YouTube Highlights (3:22)

Teammates speak about Marlon (1:13)

Senior Bowl interview (8:45)

Senior Bowl drill (1:26)

Talking with reporters about why he loves football (0:31)

Article sharing Marlon David's greatest quotes

Four OTs in the first 11 picks (and a 5th at #18). That's horrible, and would require the Packers to make a small reach (according to TDN ranking) for OT Cleveland or Niang (though Davidson is ranked lower than either).

I do like the idea of a DL at #30, though I would have expected it to be Blacklock or Gallimore. At least it's a change from the endless sea of WR at #30 mocks.

I took Queen here just because the rest of that board is absolutely atrocious. However, I went into this pick with the mindset a trade back is not an option. If it is, that's EXACTLY what I'm doing if this is how it played out.

No way Jeudy makes it to 30.

Marlon Davidson is not the type of 3-tech that we're looking for. He's an elephant 3-4 OLB tasked with rushing the passer or he'll be a 4-3 DE in the Billy Wynn mold where he's on the weak side and can beat the LT in a one-on-one situation with a power rush.

Also, Davidson is a Day 2 guy all day. MASSIVE reach if he's chosen anywhere before the Bears at 50; a team in which he wishes to play for.

Wow, this board sucks for us.

My brain believes Blacklock

My heart desires Higgins

My soul ponders Kinney

Am I the only one who thinks we're not exactly set at Safety and could benefit from another elite Safety? Someone who could be lined up practically anywhere in the Minkah Fitspatrick mold.

All depends on value.
But if you tell me we walk out of the first half of the draft with a S and no LB I’ll be very content

I can agree with that, but what is your line of thinking here?

We played 6 DBs 52% of the time and 5 DBs 28% of the time. As of now, that's Sullivan and Will Redmond.

There's absolutely an argument to be made that we need 1+ DBs.
