FFMD II '20 - New Orleans Saints Front Office

Recommended Posts

Draft is still about 10 picks away from Saints. Any preference for who we take?

Candidly, I don't know much about Dotson or Weaver but looking them up at a couple of sites, they aren't ranked at either in the top 200.

Michael Ojemudia is still available and he's much higher ranked.

We should have a shot at Dotson or Weaver in another round.

Saints 6th round but final pick will be OTC no later than 6:40 pm Eastern time today. Likely be up much sooner than that. We pick at 204 and 202 is on the clock now.

Dotson and Weaver have both been taken. So we need to come up with some new suggestions.

We used our final pick on S/LB Khaleke Hudson of Michigan

Nice. Seems like a good chess piece to round out the LBers, seems to be good in coverage. Awesome job on the draft.

Thanks!

Final results are:

1st Kenneth Murray - LB - Oklahoma

3rd Adam Trautman - TE - Dayton

4th KJ Hill - WR - Ohio State

5th Michael Ojemudia - CB - Iowa

6th Khaleke Hudson - LB/S - Michigan

So a very midwestern draft but some talent. Murray might be the only starter as a rookie but there's good depth there and some piece for the future, post SuperBowl window.

The Saints don't really need starters, outside of LBer, so that's perfectly fine.  Hill is a very good 3rd/4th WR going into this season and could see himself even developing as the outside WR opposite of Thomas in 3 WR sets with Sanders in the slot this season.
