I think it’s possible some teams did, but not enough to make “cashing in” worth it in his mind. Was such a loaded DL class this year, not everyone was going to get paid. So nobody met his asking price and the second wave offers were probably low enough that he felt it made more sense to try again next year and hope there’s more demand.
