THE DUKE
I could see wanting a bridge QB with Tua. Younger, and coming off a major injury. Burrow is 23 years old, a college graduate, a 28 game starter, coming off maybe the best season in CFB history, and perfectly healthy. The lockout was that year, and I can tell you the exact dates it started and ended.... It started my birthday (3/12) and ended on my sister's birthday (7/25). Weird, right? IIRC, rookie camps still happened in 2011. Players sued and the courts ruled that players not under contract (free agents and rookies) could not be locked out. So rookie minicamps continued as normal. Some of the other offseason program was cut and shortened however.

The players that did meet and practice were organized by vets like Whitworth.
