Larryhorn120174
So I'm really proud that front office decided to spend money outside of the talent we already have. It's been decades since I seen the narrative change. Still need to address some areas via draft but we have some depth now to positions that were awful on defense. This is truly the best offseason we had in a while.
Johnny Nix
Yeah it’s nice, but on the flip side I’m not so sure some of those contracts were the best, specifically Waynes.

Yeah Waynes was a bit high. I think at the time they were too excited about pumping up the narrative lol
INbengalfan
The only thing I disagree with is that Bell is strong in coverage. Not really. He will be the in the box safety/hybrid, taking the role from Williams. Williams will probably move to a deeper safety. At least that's how I'd play it. THE DUKE
We overpayed for Waynes, but it isn't that hard to get out of it in year 3, and it's only a 3 year contract for a CB's prime years. Not the best contract, but it's certainly not an albatross.
