I'm curious as to how much upside a 31 (in Sept)  yr old, who hasn't played in 4 years actually has? Also, no team activities as far as I know until July?

Whatever. No guaranteed $, so nothing lost, but this signing inspires nothing. This off season has been a turd.....I guess it's fitting though. 2020 can 'eff off.

It depends on his hunger to get back. Its been awhile but with his type of relentless play I that he can tapp into it. This has Jim Tomsulas name all over it. Even if we get 50% of his best thats still 9.5 sacks in a year. Tied with Clowney. In 0 Guaranteed why not?

Do most people feel this way?

IMO we are roughly ballpark about the same as last year, but weve added probably ~3 good comp picks for next year.

Also this is a whole new regime. You dont know how they will handle the current and former talent that we have.

If I remember correctly, he’s also still suspended, so he’ll need to be reinstated before he even sees training camp.

Yeah, from what I read his contract is conditional on him being reinstated. Glazer (who has been working with him for almost a year) seems to think thats going to happen.

Not too sure how I feel about this signing ... however would this signing show more of a trend toward a 3-4? I know we come out in nickel quite a bit but really think 4-3 should still be base

I honestly think we are all overthinking the 4-3/3-4 thing. We're going to play a ton of nickel, which would lead to 4 down linemen and 2 linebackers, but the versatility up front allows us to be multiple, which is what Nolan wants.
