So they lost their income and their ability to pay for health care all in one swoop. And it happened late enough that they're going to be on a pretty long waiting list to actaully get unemployment. If someone was in a polygamous relationship and had multiple commonlaw wives, they're technically breaking the law by being married multiple times, but would all those wives be able to claim that they aren't required to testify because they believe that they are his wife?
