Vikings got absolutely abused in the trenches last year on both sides by the 49ers like they were a High School Football team. It was down right embarrassing. They need to add to the OL. Jackson makes sense here. DL makes the second most sense. Get corner at Pick 25. 

Personally I think Vikings are going:

22 - OL/DL

25 - CB

58 - WR (deep class)

I did things a bit differently.

At #22 i went with Yetur Gross-Matos (due to that position group falling off), with the hope of grabbing another premium position group (+need\BPA), 3 picks later at #25.

The 2 concenus "deep" position groups in the draft, I'm waiting till after the 1st round.

Kristian Fulton is the pick everyone. The Vikings have lost:

-Trae Waynes

-MacKensie Alexander

-Xavier Rhodes

Right now their starting corners are Mike Hughes (who can't stay healthy) and Holton Hill (who can't stay sober).

There is no way a corner is NOT the draft pick here. But pick your favorite between Fulton, Diggs, Gladney, and Jaylon Johnson. But the right pick is a corner. They can look at something else at 25 but they need to address the CB situation and add a starter.

They just as well could take a CB at 25. The Vikes also lost Griffen and Weatherly at DE. I went with Gross Matos and then I’d grab a CB at 25. To me, little separates Fulton, Diggs, Johnson and Gladney whereas the drop off at DE after Gross Matos is steep.

A tackle doesn’t make sense unless Reiff is moved or cut, neither of which are likely to happen. I do like Jackson though but drafting a player this early to sit when the Vikes have so many needs and a quickly closing window is not the most logical move.

I personally think Fulton is a no-brainer decision.  I just don't think the need is that high for a DE that I'm grabbing one in a weak class of them.  I understand the argument of taking YGM, I just don't agree, as I think Fulton is far superior to the others mentioned...and it's not even close to me.  He's a full level up from Gladney and 2 levels above Diggs and Johnson. He is the BPA and the best value pick.

thats pretty much how I look at it. if YGM is there at 25, great! we'll revisit him then. When you have Hunter on one side, you can mix and match the other base and end up more than fine.

He's also a better player, in my opinion at least. Blacklock is consistently explosive, Madubuike has flashes of explosion followed by periods where he looks like an entirely different athlete and Gallimore's movements are a little calculated and pre-meditated. I like him over at nose in an even front too.
