Would be very surprised if we went QB or TE. Bill just doesn't go there.

I voted the best available LB, then the Georgia OL, then the Wisconsin linebacker. This is Bill, don't forget.

Yeah, my best guess for this board would be that BB goes Zack Baun as a direct replacement for Van Noy or Wilson as someone who can take over at right tackle. Both fit the physical profiles for what they like there.

Queen and Murray obviously fit a need and I like both. Pats tend to prefer more versatility there, so not sure they would be likely contenders. Ruiz definitely would get a closer look depending on how they feel about Andrews and his health which might be a complete unknown right now. But who knows, I've never been able to predict a Pats pick.

Went Baun (for the reason you mentioned), McKinney, Jackson.

Might seem a bit redundant to pick McKinney with 3 projected safeties that would definitely be over him, but he’s one of the BPA and none of those aforementioned safeties are in the long term plans.

Can definitely see a scenario where we pick someone with an eye on next year and McKinney would fit that bill. Phillips signing does appear to be a direct replacement for Harmon, so might not be the need it once was. Still McCourty and Chung are old by league standards.

How do you know? He has never had to in the last 2 decades.

I'm saving you from yourselves NE fans. You have the worst QB room in the league

1. Love

2. TGM

3. Queen

Just don't see that playing out, but fully expect that to be a popular pick. I get why Love would appear to make sense, but the coaching staff seem to really like Stidham. Certainly it seems they liked him enough to let Brady go, so I think he gets a chance to earn the spot without an additional 1st round pick with some lumps confusing that situation. I actually like Love, but QBs with a YOLO attitude aren't exactly what we've coveted there in the past.

Trade the pick. Team has more holes than Swiss cheese.

honestly wouldn't surprise me to see them trade back twice. get down to the 28-32 range (maybe ravens trading up for gross-matos if they decide to trade judon?) then trading back again into the 2nd round with someone looking to get into the 1st for the 5th year option on love.

still likely gives them a chance at some o-line depth and take advantage of the deep receiver class with an aiyuk/claypool/reagor kind of guy. could probably still get baun at that point too if it's an early 2
