Texans trade for WR Brandin Cooks

The comparison for BOB is Chip Kelly, not John Gruden.

He took a loaded 2013 Eagles squad and in 14 months he shipped out their QB, RB, and WR1 and a 2nd round pick. In return he brought back the last year of the last terrible NFL rookie QB contract and Kiko Alonso. He was fired during that 2015 season. Pederson and Howie rebuilt the team in 14 months (including bringing back the QB) and won a Super Bowl.

There is no one around to fire O’Brien after their incoming 7-9 season.

Did you watch him at all last season?

2019 was the best year of his career so far.

If Oakland were to get a better QB, they would have already had a guaranteed target locked in place.

They thought they could get an upgrade with Antonio Brown, but they apparently didn't realize just how much his attitude mattered.

Why?  Because Oakland is a very dysfunctional football organization that just blindly looks for the best talent around the league.

They don't know how to draft, they don't know how to coach.

They were the free agency team of the NFL for years, signing players just to see them leave in a year or two to get more money.

Yes, keeping Cooper and paying him (maybe not that much of a sum) should have been a priority for them.

They will get 5 years of a prospect who is most likely going to be superior to Cooper starting Thursday and won't have to pay him 90 million. How is it long-term worse for them? The cards were drawn perfectly.

Maybe not, but he's really close.

The Amari Cooper trade was probably much worse than the Khalil Mack trade was in the long term for Oakland anyway.

Really? I'm very pleased with the guys we drafted and signed with the assets acquired and saved from shipping them both out.

The Rams taking a 22mil cap hit makes you think they know his brain done taking hits.

Everyone outside of The Bill O'Brien Football franchise located in Harris County TX knows this.

Literally everyone.
