1) Austin Jackson

2) Yetur Gross-Matos

3) Isaiah Wilson (DJ recently said he thinks teams are going to massively reach on him)

Vikings will do at least one trench pick in the 1st Round. Pretty confident they don’t go WR here.

I didn’t see Blacklock was still available. He would of been my 3rd choice.

I went with Austin Jackson.

I'm not willing to wait until #58 to possibly address OL, when there is bound to be an OL run in the 27-45 range. And Jackson is good value and address a need.

He can start as LG in his rookie season, and than transition to LT next year. If Reiff is really poor in camp,  its possible Reiff could be cut (if we added another OL in the draft), and Jackson gotta straight to LT.

Cousins needs time in the pocket more than anything (defending the pass rush), and Cook could use better OL blocking.

I went with Yetur Gross Matos followed by Austin Jackson. I get the need to build up the OL, I think the emphasis needs to be IOL and I don’t think Jackson can play OG nor do I trust Reiff too as well.

Vikes losing Griffen and Weatherly is being severely underestimated so give me a pass rusher and I’ll grab an OG in round two.

I do want to acknowledge that I really like Jackson as a LT and would have liked to have seen Reiff cut at the start of the offseason for cap relief. That’s why Jackson is still in my top 2, the upside is positive, just doesn’t help the team now if they have a rookie first round pick on the bench.

Jackson would definitely be plugged into the starting lineup, whereas YGM would be a backup DE and just see 3rd down passing situations at first. My ideal\realistic draft was getting a) Jackson and b) YGM.

Now, I'm okay with taking YGM here.  Unlike some others here, I have absolutely no interest in taking Austin Jackson here.  For me, it's a huge red flag (and unfortunate for him) that he went to USC, which, in the last 30 years has only produced 2-3 good offensive linemen (in Tyron Smith, Ryan Kalil and Tony Boselli), otherwise they've all been garbage.  On top of that though is that he needs a lot of work on his technique before he's a starter, despite what some others believe as well.  I'm not taking that in the first round.  Second round, sure, but I'm not taking that here with this pick.  For me,  in order, it's really a toss-up between YGM, Blacklock and Reagor.

Any reason why Isaiah Wilson wouldn't be the most 2020 impactful olinemen here?

2020 - Thomas plays RG, with Reiff at LT and Oneil at RT

2021 - Oneil shifts to LT, Wilson to RT and they plug someone in at RG.

I like Ruiz, but he is too similar to Bradbury to me. His lack of anchor is concerning and I'd rather have someone next to Bradbury on the Oline in Wilson that can anchor.
