Less Talked About Lions Prospects

Most folks have the same prospects linked to the Lions:  Jeff Okudah, Isaiah Simmons or Derrick Brown.  All of them would have a big impact on our team.  I think other prospects in Rounds1-3 that aren't getting a lot of press could really help us out, especially if we manage to trade down:

1.  Javaon Kinlaw DT-He is the same size as Derrick Brown with slightly better length and more explosive.  He somewhat raw but his potential is through the roof.  Putting him next Trey Flowers would wreck a lot of game plans

2.  Andrew Thomas OT-He started a lot of games for Georgia and played really well.  He may not be flashy but he seems very under-rated.  If we made a pre-draft trade and moved down in exchange for an impact defensive player he might make a lot of sense.

3.  K'Lavon Chaisson DE-He is explosive off the edge and seems to be versatile enough to play some LB.  If he is healthy, he seems like an under-rated talent

4. John Simpson G- Evaluations are all over with him but he is 6'4, 320 lbs, 34 inch arms, 11-inch hands, put up 34 reps on the Bench Press and started 29 games at Clemson.  He is a pure guard who has a lot of natural size and strength.  This just in:  we need at least one starting guard in the draft

5. Khalid Kareem DE-Most sites have him rated in the third round.  He is a smart player and a Trey Flowers clone.  He has a lot of untapped potential but could be a solid rotational player early on

6. Josh Uche OLB- He is a bit short but has great playing speed.  He could really make a difference as an off-the-ball LB who is an effective blitzer.  He seems to be athletic enough to match up against TE and RBs also.  We could use another versatile LB because Jarrad Davis is not getting better and Christian Jones isn't getting any younger.

7. Michael Ojemudia CB/S-6'1, 200 lbs and ran a 4.45 at the combine.  He has good triangle numbers and could at least provide decent depth. with a lot of development potential.

8.  AJ Dillion RB:  6'0, 247 lbs and ran a 4.53.  He put up monster numbers for Boston College and moves surprisingly well for a big RB.  Adding him to our roster would make a lot of LBs and DBs hate life.

9. Denzel Mims WR:  There hasn't been a lot connecting him with the Lions but at 6'3, 207 with legit sub 4.4 speed and production to back it up, he could do a lot of damage and make our passing game lethal.

10. Van Jefferson WR:  He is one of those guys that just knows how to play the position.  He could be a really good slot WR almost immediately assuming he is healthy.  The lack of a medical re-check could push his stock down.

This is a lot but I figured everyone has seen enough mock drafts.  Who are some under-the-radar prospects that could help the Lions?  Thoughts?

I really like a number of the guys you mention. Hopefully we see a couple of these as future Lions.
