If you are bored like I am, you may want to participate in this Build a City Mock Draft. I used to run these a few years ago and some of you may be familiar with this. For those who are not, this is how it works: Each person picks a city that has 4 major sports teams (you can relocate if necessary, really doesn't matter). This person is responsible for drafting 4 teams, one for each of the professional major sports teams (NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB) with both competitiveness and building around the future in mind. Starts with eight (8) "Franchise Cornerstone" rounds. In these rounds, all players from all 4 major sports are available for selection. You must pick 2 players in each sport over these first 8 rounds and ultimately end up with 2 players that you will continue to build around. Once the Franchise Cornerstone rounds are complete, we will begin drafting individually for each of the four sports to fill out the following roster spots: NFL: Offense: 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 5OL Defense: can either run a 4/3 or 3/4 defense and will select 4DBs NBA: Starting 5 and a five-man bench NHL: Offense: 3 lines Defense: 2 lines Goalies: 1 MLB: Batters: 8 fielders and 1 DH Pitchers: 5 starters, 3 relievers UPDATE: We are filled with 12 teams and will begin drafting Tuesday 4/14 Edited April 19, 2020 by jcrell623 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Another idea we can implement that we used to do: after the drafts, set up a bracket-style "playoffs" post-draft where either the (a) entire group or (b) a few third-party voters would pick which teams they preferred head-to-head and ultimately crown a champ in each of the four leagues.
