can we just have Epenesa fall to us and be Suggs 2.0 in that regard.

a guy that was heralded as a sure fire top5-10 pick before draft season only to get nitpicked and over-analysed by draft heads for his combine testing (i believe?).
yeah i get Suggs was picked #10 but obviously should have gone higher.

i see a Justin Smith talent falling to the 20ish range and hope the Ravens make a move for him.

A feel a lot of internal pressure with this, because the last two drafts my clear-cut GUY was Lamar Jackson and Hollywood. From what I've seen of this draft class, the only guy I'm truly comfortable putting that label on is Jerry Jeudy. He's obviously out of our range, but he's the guy that I would endorse giving up picks for and it being a home run in this draft. In any other scenario, I'm just looking for value and more picks, to hit those doubles and singles.

Conversely, in this class there's a lot of players I "like" and not many that I'd hate. I'd like Baun or Epenesa to shore up the pass rush at 1. I think Winfield Jr is going to be really good. I haven't been bored enough to watch that much O-lineman film/highlights, but i think that may be the "smartest" way to go with our first pick if we aren't able to move down. I did hate Terrell Lewis when he was a guy everyone was putting round 1, but late-2nd, I certainly wouldn't have a problem with his upside. I've been down on the round 1 ILBs but that's more about the positional value in our scheme than the players themselves.

Saw something today about him possibly hiding the extent of some knee issues he's had. There's already been some theories about just how much you can get out of his knees because of his play style and physical profile too. A couple twitter MDs had 'evidence' threads on the issue a while back IIRC.

Maybe it all means nothing and he'll still go really high, but legit injuries/health issues are always a reliable agent when it comes to facilitating draft day drops. Montez Sweat, Reuben Foster, etc.

So he might not be that out of reach at this point. Who knows?

Should add that for this draft in particular Injury Flags might carry even more weight. The COVID crisis has left it's mark all over the process and teams likely won't gamble big on potential health issues. Having been unable to vet the prospects to their typical degree. FOs just won't feel comfortable.

There should be at least 5-6 monster Draft Day drops for guys we all think are consensus early round selections.

I know a lot of people have mixed opinions on him but I’m a big Laviska Shenault fan. He just reminds me of a faster version of Anquan Boldin. Before the injuries, he was the best WR in the nation. I think he’s going to tear it up in the NFL...praying the Ravens take him with 55 or 60.

Antonio Gibson, he's just an explosive playmaker., I think he's Cordarrelle Patterson 2.0, perhaps with better hands.  Will never be a 1000 yard rusher or receiver, but will be the type of guy you always have to account for in space.  I'd imagine he could put up Darren Sproles type numbers.  Which in our scheme is 2018 Patterson of steroids.

I like him a lot more than the Lynn Bowden option.

Also, Cordarelle Patterson has had a very underrated career and he is in the very top of return specialists in the NFL, and had he not been a 1. round guy, he would most likely get more publicity as a player in the NFL. If Gibson could be that guy for us, we should be very happy.

I'm greedy, there's no reason you can't have both.

Have seen his name pop up a lot but never looked over him. Still haven’t looked at a game breakdown but just based off of his size and what I’ve seen here... I agree with @Danand this is a guy I would like. Could fit in both the running back and WR bucket, but just come in as mainly a special teams guy. He could be the second WR and depending on which group we need more help with he could see more time at as his career progresses. I love those hamstrings he has on him.

Along this note, passionate dislike would be Kenneth Murray. Probably wouldn’t want him until the 3rd round.

Most of the TEs in the class that I’ve watched outside of Josiah Deguara.

Those Notre Dame pass rushers.

Thats about all I can think of, feel the strength of this class is in the second and third rounds.

I will say if Cole Kmet falls to the 3rd round  comp I am down with him and that value.

Speaking of Notre Dame pass rushers still don’t like the other guy, but Khaleed Kareem does seem to intrigue me some as a third round option.

Just felt I needed to update my expectations. Julian Okwara was considered more highly rated so I suppose I must’ve confused his tape with Kareem as well, not sure. But Kareem definitely seems like a Raven on the field.
