Same with Taxi Driver, although I think that one can lean a little more heavy into suspense, which I tend to include along with thriller. True, it is a hard category but to me in no way is The Godfather or Taxi Driver more thrilling than Jaws, Halloween or Alien. To me The Godfather and Taxi Driver are too slow to be considered much of a thriller and are far more dramatic. I watched it a long time ago, loved it, but literally cannot remember anything about it other than the car chase. Need to watch Get Carter and Taxi Driver as well.
