Speaking of Jackson: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001109776/article/chad-reuter-sevenround-2020-nfl-mock-draft-round-3

Doesn't qualify as a rumor, but I love the trade down scenario in this mock.

In fact, love everything about it except the WR in R-2.

Think we will need to use that pick to get Winfield.

Well it has us getting Winfield with 74

Myles Jack is an average starter. Weird comparison. Outside linebackers don’t transcend your defense, no matter how good they are.

And how exactly would he help our safeties? He’s a LB—100%.

If he was there at 10, that’s one thing. Even then, only if the top 4 OTs are somehow gone.

Simmons is good. But he isn’t special. We have a glaring hole on offense at LT. Most draft classes don’t have any stud OT’s in them. This class has 4.

OT @ 10 or bust.

You sir are out yo damn mind.

Don't think Winfield will be there at 74.

He has been mocked as high as end of R-1, to BAL I believe.

The only way he falls to the 3rd is if teams are horrified by his medicals. I was going through some mock drafts in my head and I have a very hard time keeping him out of the 1st round.

If we trade with Philly, we’d get 1, 2, 3.

Atlanta and Denver would be 1, 3 and a future pick.

Philly makes the most sense if we want Ezra Cleveland and Andrew Thomas isn’t available.

With those 2nds and 3rds, you could entertain trading for Jamal Adams.

If we move down I’d expect some compensation to in the form of future picks.

Teams undervalue future picks as many teams are trying to win now and GM’s are trying to keep their job.  They’ll worry about next year next year.

id rather have a 2 next year than a 3 this year and so on.

If we’re talking future picks Atlanta and Tampa Bay are probably the most susceptible to offering them up since both teams are going to definitely push to try to win now

I don't think Atlanta would be in the market for a trade-up. Who would they even trade up for?
