Ok! Happy monday, boys. Just 3 days away until football's futures' biggest show, The NFL draft!

Jk Dobbins won the vote outright for #36 on our board, and then we had a FOUR way tie between a CB, WR, DT, and TE. Normally I settle these ties by picking the position of need. Well, those four positions are all positions of need.

So the next way to settle a tie between players rated equally, is by placing the player that ranks higher at his position first.

In this case it was:

Cole Kmet TE#1

Ross Blacklock DT#3

Brandon Ayuki WR#6

A.J. Terrell CB#7

I think this is where the 2nd round of OTs should start coming off the board. I went with Ezra, mostly because he was first in the list. I think they’re pretty interchangeable at this point. What flavor of ice cream do you like?

I went with OT Austin Jackson. He's a fringe 1st round guy, so this could be a likely draft area for him.

Funny.... I've been sitting here trying to decide between two tackles...

But it was between Josh Jones and Isaiah Wilson. I check the comments and the 2 other tackles already have votes

I'm going OT Isaiah Wilson out of Georgia.

He came to the combine at 6'6" 350lbs.

He's a big boy.

He ran decently well for a man his size at 5.23. He was able to bench well even with 35 1/2 inch arms. You can't teach his size/length/strength/athleticism combo, and all his flaws are coachable because he has the athleticism.

NFL Comparison
Phil Loadholt
Overview
Big, broad right tackle prospect with outstanding physical traits and above-average potential. Wilson's play was a bit uneven depending on his matchup, but his level of play showed improvement in-season. He's a little inconsistent hitting his landmarks as a zone blocker but should fit nicely into a man-based blocking scheme. A potential lack of range in pass protection could lead to over-sets and subsequent troubles with inside counters. Wilson has elite size and length. There's buzz surrounding his NFL projection, but early work might be needed for both his footwork and technique in order to play with desired consistency as a starter.
Strengths
  • Broad through chest and back with tapered waist
  • Possesses elite size and body composition
  • Hard to negotiate for work-around defenders
  • Massive frame gets natural movement at point of attack
  • Able to maul and seal the gap as base blocker
  • Torque power to widen lanes with kick-out blocks
  • Moldable traits for big step forward in pass protection
  • Pass protection consistency improved during the year
  • Long with strong inside jab to stall rush counters
  • Above-average redirect footwork for his size
