Ty21
He at the very least had over 1k yards from scrimmage in his first 9 seasons but he is far from a hall of famer. But what do I know if Edgerrin James made it.

He has an outstanding 2 years in the early 90s. (90 and 91) That's it. He made the pro bowl in 1992 as the 10th rated passer and t-4th rated AFC passer. That honor is meaningless. He made the pro bowl in 1988 with 15 TDs and 17 picks. He was 13th in passer rating. HE WAS THE 7TH RATED PASSER IN THE AFC! His record says 5 pro bowls. He belonged on 3 of those teams. He's got 20 TDs and 28 picks in the playoffs. Reich had 7 to 3 on the same team. If you want to add his 2 USFL years and then you somehow give him credit for carrying his team of Hall of Famers and Pro Bowlers for 20 TDs and 28 picks in the playoffs then he gets in at some point. He was first ballot. Jim Kelly passer ratings in the playoffs. (AFCCGs and SBs in BOLD) 126.6 125.1 113.2 85.8 85.3 82.2 81.5 79.2 71.0 68.2 67.1 61.7 58.9 44.8 35.1 33.6 31.6 He ran for zero TDs and about 9 yards a game so no Elway points. Frank Reich's 2 starts 118.0 115.9 If you want to count his 2 off the bench stints in Super Bowls then add in 112.5 on 1 throw 60.4 on 31 throws after the classic Kelly 9 drop backs with 3 turnovers start to XXVII (58.9 rating) Edited April 23, 2020 by SkippyX
viper952
I'm still convinced he could be a 3rd down back right now with the shape he's in.

Damon Allen is #4 ALL-Time in "Pro Football" passing yards.... You want him in there too? The CFL is a wildly different version of football, so if the Pro Football Hall of Fame is solely for US-style, then no. But if it is, indeed, the PRO Football HoF, it should at least nod to CFL accomplishments.
