Emerica
Love that they are putting emphasis on the trenches more specifically the OL. This is such a welcome change from the Tannenbaum era.
Rgossett07
Rounds 3-7 have been tough for Grier in the past. Other than Gaudcheaux we haven’t found much production. Obviously this is a different coaching staff where development is a priority.
Tetsujin
We got Matt Breida from SF with our 5th rounder. Edited April 25, 2020 by Tetsujin
Tetsujin
Let’s unsticky the Week 17 thread, and sticky this one.
Tetsujin
Curtis Weaver used to be regularly mocked in the late 1st/early 2nd round.
Tetsujin
LSU's long snapper in R6. I didn't see that coming.
Rgossett07
Getting Brieda for a 5th and grabbing Weaver has made this day a success in my mind. Even if we wasted a 6th on a long snapper with plenty of good depth value on the board.
Emerica
Shocked that Prince Tega Wanogho is still on the Board. Must have some sort of off-the-field issues because he was often mocked as a late first/second round guy. I'd trade both our 7th to move up in the 6th and grab him to close out the draft but I obviously don't have all the background info on him. Good old Ross cost the franchise half a decade with that idiotic move.

Tetsujin
My color-coded system is quite useful. It's very quickly and easily interpretable for all the trades.

Phinsesq
All in all I'm happy with this draft, like the posters above thrilled with the emphasis on the "trenches". Glad they went with Tua over Herbert, we passed on Aaron Rodgers in 2005 (drafting Ronnie Brown) we passed on Brees in 2006 over injury concerns. How many other good/great QB's over the years have we had the opportunity to, and then failed to draft? Hopefully they sit him this year with a little playing time here and there.
