I don't understand a team that under used Diggs taking a WR in round 1. They want to be a running team. Yes, take a WR, but I don't get it in round 1.

wow. not a fan.

why trade Diggs just to draft a WR that has an extremely slim chance of ever being that good?

Would have preferred Mims if they're taking a receiver but I thought WR was still the way to go after trading Diggs (which I wish they hadn't)

Spielman loves his first round receivers.

I don't love the pick, but I get it. I preferred Fulton or Chaisson if he wasn't already picked.

I really hope that people don't expect him to live up to Diggs' legacy. If he turns out to be a really high end #2 with Theilen it'll have been a good pick. not great, but good.

Higgins in the second would have been nice too. I think he and Jefferson are similar talents.

Jefferson may be a fine pick but unless the team strengthens the offensive line at some point he'll not be able to reach his full potential.

Cash, unhappy receiver, adding a 5th/6th/2021 4th

Not happy with the pick, but it's one I can live with.

Do I think the Vikings wanted to go WR with our first pick? Absolutely not.

Do I think the Vikings wanted to go with the BPA at 22 who is the most NFL ready? Absolutely. Justin is it.

I truly wanted to go CB first, but I feel the value at 22 for CB isn't as high as it is for a guy like Jefferson.

You'd have to ask the Vikings. I hate that they traded Diggs.
