How he had a great preseason and builds a buzz so we might trade him in the off-season
Scoremore
Did see a few clips of him at OTA's. Looked like he quickened his release. Glad he wants to play. Will say had he been drafted by a sucky team and forced to play right away he'd already busted out. His first two years he's been nowhere close to being ready. Hopefully the light goes on this year and he'll be ready to lead the team if Rodgers goes down for any amount of time.

Hard to say if he would have made the necessary leap in his game learning the hard way, but I see it pretty similarly. A talented but raw prospect coming in under the COVID offseason probably completely folds under fire. I watched his interview, still don’t know if he’ll have what it takes but he was candid about disappointment of not getting the start while still being happy for Rodgers. 12 has told him to take this part of the season by the horns and run with it so although they are in n competition, I think both of them have a healthy attitude and relationship under the circumstances. Quickened it up quite a bit but we'll see when we get a better look in the preseason. Haven't lost all hope on him yet.
Patriotplayer90
This was one of the dumbest picks in NFL history. Someone should have been fired over that draft class.

Nah not a dumb pick because it woke up Rodgers. Loves problem is that the scouting report is out on him that he can't handle the blitz. Teams won't dare blitz good Vets like Brady and Rodgers because they'll get burned. That's why Rodgers is important to this team right now because DCs respect him. not saying Love is a bust, but until he can start making teams pay for blitzing him he's not ready. Taking a potential franchise QB at #26 is never dumb. Regardless of whether it works out or not.

I feel like that's a typical young QB thing - send the house until it becomes apparent that sending everything at him is a really, really bad idea.

Yeah, that's pretty much how NFL defenses attack every inexperienced QB. Doesn't matter if it's Jordan Love or Trevor Lawrence. People are going to blitz the heck out of Kenny Pickett this year too.

Trading up to get Love at #26 was a poor value and a bad decision. He didn't "fall", he was a late 1st round prospect at best. Tennessee and Atlanta both drafted better QB prospects this year, and didn't waste valuable picks to do it. The roster is still suffering from the decision to draft a bunch of backups in 2020
