Maybe it hasn't been said because it wasn't true :)  Well, I listened online so I can't speak to the TV broadcasts, but the best can be said was there were no communication issues (at least none major that appeared to impact the draft) so props to their tech team I guess. But between taking a freaking half-hour just to get going and Goodell just being a dork in general, no, I would never say "amazing" at all.

I would say amazing considering the logistics of pulling something like this off. I like that Roger can make fun of himself. We will have to agree to disagree on this one.

Question from a novice: How can you tell if a guy runs good routes vs not?

I like when the first three steps on a slant or go route are the exact same.  Consistency in footwork across all routes keeps you from tipping your route to the DB.  Also, the hand fighting ability to get through press quickly.  I also look at footwork/body movement at the top of the route.  How quick are they into and out of the break/how much do they have to slow down to make that break?  Running a 4.2 40 is great, but if you have to slow down to a 5.2 40 to make a cut, that speed is largely negated.  And are they agile enough to make a feint with their body/head as they go into the top of their route?  I also look at body positioning in relation to the QB.  Do they position themselves in a place where the DB can't get through them to the ball?
