Sure that 2004 draft yielded Scott Wells and Corey Williams who were both decent, but that was rounds 6 and 7. (Ahmad Carroll was the CB they forced to practice in oven mitts, not the RB.)

PossibleCabbage
Remember, if the question is "can it get worse" the answer is "yes". In 1999 the Minnesota Vikings spent a first round pick (#29) on a player who spent one practice with them, then decided quit football. It can always get worse. DWhitehurst
Well, at least now I don't associate the foul taste in my mouth with GoT Season 8 anymore. Cured. So on to Day 3, where Gute reaches for practice squad level players. Edited April 25, 2020 by DWhitehurst
Green19
To be fair to Gute and LaFleur... everyone wanted them to improve the offense. The issue is under McCarthy and Rodgers the offense was based on WR. This offense goes thru the running game. Guys like Dillon and Hback TEs honestly make sense. Its a different philosophy than what fans are use to. If GB becomes like the Ravens and are the best rushing team in football I don’t know if people will hate that.

I think everyone here does. The issue is when these guys were selected. I mean, there are reaches and then there are reaches. Taking Dillon isn't an issue, well, except for the fact that he is 250pnder who tries to play like a finesse back.. Taking Dillon in the 2nd round certainly is.
