Love to see every fanbase try to claim like 12 different players are AB 2.0 this year.

The dude had cancer for five and a half years and Washington misdiagnosed it. They got off light.

Actually the Redskins doctors told him to get a 2nd opinion and he chose not to.

Trent is Niners problem now. Thank God!

The most you'll get if he walks next year is a 5th rounder.

That's assuming he even plays for the Niners since he thinks he's worth 20+M a year.

Does even pass his physical? Helmet & stuff.

Niners think they got a steal.

What they really got was Antonio Brown part 2. Enjoy...

Thanks for 5th & 3rd next yr.

Five and a half years. I don't care that he didn't see a second doctor. They ****ed up his diagnosis for five and a half years, when he had a cancerous growth on his head.

Would you ask a foot doctor to diagnosis your hand?  The Redskins medical staff are not cancer experts.  He was told to go to a specialist, he didn't.

If they're not experts, they shouldn't have told him that their medical opinion was it was nothing to worry about for five and a half years.

Part of their opinion was that he should go see a specialist.  You're ignoring how modern medicine works.  If my general practitioner told me he didn't think it was anything serious but I should probably see a specialist to make sure, I'm going to go to the specialist.  If I don't, that's on me.

I legitimately don't understand why there is such hate in this thread. 49ers get a a guy who could be an excellent tackle this year but comes with risk, at a mitigated cost. Washington resolves an issue that had been a non stop distraction, and basically got the best they could get.

If a team physician doesn’t follow up with a player on this to make sure that it turned out to be nothing for five and a half years, they’ve failed their responsibilities as a team physician.
