RG was the last starting position available. If he could actually start for us this coming season that would be great.

If he beats out Brunskill for the RG, then this dude must be pretty good. Brunskill was a top 5 OT this year while he was in.

In these clips, I see a guard. He looks to stiff and upright, and not fast enough laterally to be at tackle. Short stepper, would probably work really well in close quarters. I think Brunskills starts at RG, while McKivitz can be a back-up at all 4 spots, learns, and pays his dues. When Lynch says that he would taken him in the fourth if the deal for Williams hadn't gone through, I assume he would have taken McKivitz to play RG while Brunskills moved to tackle. I don't know if they would have taken the opportunity to move McGlinchey over to the left side and played Brunskills at RT, but I just don't see McKivitz starting at T as a rookie.

And I am so glad we don't have to worry about it. :D

Yeah, Williams buys us time. Hopefully we extend him sooner rather than later. 2-3 years, similar to Joe's last extension (with a bit more money, I'm sure). We can draft a C next year.
