Honestly, I  think he was drafted to play STs. Like seriously.....

Im sure that is a huge part of it.

Here is the thing though - STs are a big part of playoff teams. We are a playoff team with a very well rounded roster. Having a guy who is very physical on special teams is really good. If he can fill a role that no one else on the roster currently occupies on offense, then its a huge win. This role could potentially be our RZ target

I really liked the Kaden Smith pick last year because I saw a tall, strong guy who would box out defenders and make strong hand catches with little/no separation in the endzone. Kaden ended up catching a bunch of TDs last year in NYG. I see the same thing with Jennings. He could very well turn into a ST specialist who catches a lot of touchdowns with defenders draped all over him in the slot, over the middle in the RZ. That sounds like a great pick in the 7th round.

Woerner is another guy who will play ST immediately as well. That dude is going to lay people out

You also have to remember that our best running back was also our gunner last year. We cant use mostert like that next year, we need to give him RB1 treatment tbh. our kickoff coverage was not good at times last year. We were all really worried about tyreek/hardman getting a chance to return a kick against us. We addressed that, which is great awareness. I bet most people forgot the long returns we gave up torwards the end of the year

We are building a team of bullies. KITTLE trucks defenders for fun, Deebo snatches chains, Aiyuk is nicknamed YAC for a reason, Woerner is a mauler, Hurd (hopefully) will be like trying to tackle a bag of bricks, and Jauan Jennings is gonna stomp on your head. No defense is going to enjoy playing us for the foreseeable future. We are also going to be a team that will beat up teams to the point they lose the following week, just like Pittsburgh used to do

The biggest issue I have with this kid is he is too much like my 12 year old students: doesn't think before he acts.

Not interested at all. If he gets his act together, great. But Rueben Foster is a memory that stings...

All great football players are at least a little bit nuts. I will take some aggressive football players on my team. Your football team cant be too nice.

You probably aren't a warriors fan but sometimes you need a Draymond green on your team to keep people on edge. I like the nastiness Jennings plays with. I hope he brings that fire to practice everyday. I want him to get up on witherspoon in TC and push him to play physical/nasty. I want him to play with fire and force guys like bourne and pettis to bring it everyday or get left behind. I even want to see him mix it up with Sherman just to make sure no one gets too comfortable.

DBs BETTER BRING THOSE SHOULDER PADS

I was calling deebo and kittle the yac Bros at the end of the year. Yac attack sounds more fun though

It honestly looks like a starwars poster

DOES RAS MEASURE HEART????? DOES IT MEASURE THE WILL TO WIN??????

Didn't think so!!

Rudy's RAS score was really low, but he stuck around the scout team on one of the best college team in the country for four years, and got a degree!! He ain't got nothin' to prove to nobody!

Is that the same guy that won the survivor pool this year? That guy is a legend!

Well, there's this from the 49ers webzone:

Quote

The SEC suspended him for half of this year's Gator Bowl following an altercation with a Vanderbilt player. Jennings was flagged for a flagrant personal foul following the incident, and the receiver was accused of stepping on that player's head. Jennings later denied that it was intentional.

Then you have the profanity-filled social media tirade that Jennings went on in 2017 when he verbally attacked Tennessee's previous coaching staff, calling its members liars, fakes, and snakes.

I think we knew about the social media crap (which definitely is cause for concern to me), but the flagrant personal foul suspension?! Yikes! Seems to me this guy could be a ticking time bomb on the field...we do not need personal fouls waiting to happen. Just my two bits.

I don't deny he is somewhat intriguing for the 7th round, but this guy has baggage.
