Packers 2020 WR Corps

Real question: has there ever been a WR room this big?  I'm wracking my brain trying to think of other corps over the years that were known for being big, but I can't think of a single other team that had 5 6'4"+ receivers in their top 6.  Feel like people don't really appreciate that this group is a real anomaly, and none of us really know how that's going to play out.

The Packers are preparing to push Valdes-Scantling to take a big – and necessary – developmental step during his third NFL season.

“You look at MVS, the speed that he has – he has to take that next step, and that’s going to be a challenge for him, and we’re going to be all over him to do that,” LaFleur said following the draft.

I still believe he has a chance to take that leap. Adams didn't hit the ground running. Lets see what year 3 in Green Bay and year 2 in MLF's offense brings. There have been some flashes. Lets hope he put it together.

i'm still laughing at this

That's 100% how I read that quote though.. They're just going to will him into being good now.

Fwiw I still think MVS can be pretty decent and I sort of get where he's coming from and everything.

Yea, just coach speak. MVS being anything more than he was last year is all on him. How hard is he working on his craft to learn the nuances of being an NFL WR? It's all up to him at this point.
