2021 early watching list

I think Surtain Jr will be CB1

Gregory Rosseau DE 1

Fields and Purdy another two QBs looking like first rounders

PFF College described Penei Sewell’s sophomore season “what seems like the single greatest season from an offensive lineman at the college level.”

Chase might be everyone's WR1 - torched Clemson.

Parsons, Pen St LB, is a bit of a freak LB - and they tend to go early

Oh, and if nothing else apart from the name, there's a WR from USC called Amon-Ra St. Brown.  Oh yeaaa.

JaMarr Chase torched everyone.

84 catches
1780 yards
21.2 avg
20 TD

Easy WR1 next year in a class that is even more stacked at WR than the 2020 WR draft class.  Top 5 pick next year.

Warning on some guys I have seen heavily hyped early-on by some who don't fit the bill;

  • Walker Little (massively overhyped going into last year, think it is mainly due to the old 5-star tag, and now has to comeback from injury)
  • Calvin Ashley (those 5 stars apparently do a lot for keeping your draft stock afloat... Redshirted in 2017, played in only 5 games in 2018 with one start, was supposed to play at FAU last year but then left before the season, and is now at Florida A&M. 1 start over 3 seasons and he is rated by a 2nd rounder as some? Clear sign of somebody just plucking names off recruiting rankings...)

I have a feeling he won't declare, but Chris Olave of Ohio State is a fun watch and not getting much pub. Sound player, runs good routes, always extends for the ball, constantly making sideline catches. Not as talented as teammate Garrett Wilson (soph), but solid receiver who also plays special teams (blocked a punt last year and also caught a surprise onside kick in a game).

For the sake of every Packer fan please let this be true

Translation:

PFF ignored Orlando Pace’s entire sophomore and junior seasons.

Give me DeVonta Smith ahead of him.

Also, Najee Harris is my early RB1. Both he and Smith look special to me.

Wilson is going to be a "first overall WR prospect" so that bar is kinda high lol but yes, Olave is interesting to watch. I don't feel he's first round material just yet but w/ another season, that could absolutely change!

Rondale Moore. He's 5'8" 180 lbs, fast as hell, and squats 600 pounds. Chase is undoubtedly a better WR prospect, but I can't stop watching Moore.

Moore will be a guy getting a ton of attention in next year's draft. His speed alone will grab everyone's attention

Jeez next year's WR class is absolutely stacked. Chase, Moore, Waddle, Smith, Bateman, and those are just the guys I know about right now.

Also, yes, Penei Sewell is that good. If he were a year older and came out this year, we'd be talking about an OT class with a defined #1 and 4 other great prospects grouped together behind him.
