Even if they could I assume most draftable players who are 4th Or even 5th year seniors wouldn’t want to return. If you’ve got your degree it’s time to make money. They’ll take their shot getting into the league or pursue a career outside of football.
agarcia34
Dan Patrick said he was told that the Big 10 and Pac 12 will cancel their football seasons tomorrow. And that the SEC is trying to get other conferences to join them in playing

They could televise 9-10 games a week. I had a feeling the NFL was going to figure out a way to increase ad money with a lack of fans. Anybody else hear anything about this. We would def see some NFL games on Saturday if there is no college football and ESPN already said if there is no college football we will see herbstreit and fowler do the MNF games which will be awesome

agarcia34
Time for some NFL on Saturday night. Can’t wait. That time slot is way to good for views for the NFL to not hop in and take it which they already have the right to do so.

If they go with no fans they will have the flexibility to play every major match-up. This will be the worst season ever to attend a game but the best ever to watch games on TV. Direct TV will not like it because it limits the need for Sunday Ticket but they need to step up their game and increase the quality of the service anyways.

agarcia34
Would be an absolute train wreck to pick in the top 10 and that would mean Carr is gone and that the Raiders should be looking at Trey Lance. Gregory Rousseau is a freak of nature, but your team aint gonna be good without a QB.
RaidersAreOne
Rousseau won't even be available at #9 anyways. I agree though if we are picking 9 then Carr is not the answer and we need a new starting QB. Unless Mariota came in and flashed which I kindof doubt. Mariota is like Marinelli for us this year. He will be called up if the other person fails but will not have to blow up to stay on the team next year. They will just have to show a slight improvement this year if called upon.

The only way that's possible would be that Carr goes 0-8 and Marcus finishes 5-3 or something like that. I don't see that happening for multiple reasons, especially that we won't go 0-8 and and they wouldn't leave Carr in that long if he's playing that poorly. To be in that #9 spot, our record can't be better that 5-11.

I think Gruden is going to make a decision on Carr based upon his ability to run the offense. Carr can put up stats between the 20's all day long but if he can not make the correct reads in the red-zone Gruden is going to lose it. Whether the team wins or loses he is going to judge the QBs based upon their ability to execute properly. If Carr runs the O like Gruden wants and scores 25+ points a game and the defense is giving up 30+ I do not think Gruden puts that on Carr. We either succeed, Carr is gone, Guenther is gone, or both are gone.
