Care to go a bit more in depth?

Let's go back to the 2018 draft and you know what you know about Bates and your picking 17 overall.

Would you take Bates over the next 4 picks.... James, Jaire Alexander, Vander Esch, Ragnow? I wouldn't, despite James injuries.

I think there will be better defensive players available at 17 than Moehrig and selecting him at 17 is about 15-20 picks to high. I think you can get a FS at 48 who is a similar talent because none are standouts.

For the record, I liked Bates a lot in 2018, wanted to take him vs. trading back in round 2. I liked him more than I like Moehrig this year.

Been fun the past week watching these 49ers fan pray and hope that its not Mac Jones at 3. Imagine trading all those draft picks for Mac Jones. Im a huge fan of Kyle, but that is im the smartest guy in the room type of move.

Already put in some draft bets

Under 5.5 Kyle Pitts

Under 5.5 Penei Sewell

Under 11.5 Rashawn Slater

Under 6.5 Ja'Maar Chase

Draft really cant get here fast enough

I'm going to guess they take Lance

I don't think Pitts goes in the Top 5 picks (although I do think he's a Top 5 player). The rest of your bets should hit though. Where are you placing your bets?

Agreed. Most think Fields but as soon as they traded up I thought it was Lance. Potential is through the roof, and I think he's the better fit than Fields in that offense. Can't go wrong either way though, the Top 4 QBs in this draft are extremely solid prospects and I like all of them. No idea what's with the Mac Jones hype though.... him going at 3 would be similar to Jones going at 6. Neither belong anywhere near the top half of the 1st Round imo.

Banking on the Falcons keeping that pick and selecting him. Not sure where they go aside from Pitts if they keep the pick. If they trade that pick then its a loser.

Betonline and Fanduel for the Jamar Chase one

Didn’t know betonline had their draft props up.

I know Fanduel has a Sportsbook now which is super cool, but California is going to be one of the last ones to join the party....

They just put them up this morning so there isn't a lot of options but should see more as the draft gets closer.

Im in AZ so I feel ya with that last one to join the party statement. Had a friend who lives in Colorado place that Chase bet for me. AZ and Cali pretty much face some of the same obstacles with the tribes and trying to get a bill passed.

Yeah the Indian Casinos will fight this tooth and nail to get sole rights to sports betting. So annoying.

It depends on how highly you value Richie Grant/Jevon Holland.

I am very high on Moehrig. If he turns into Jessie Bates, he's 100% worth the pick. That being said, I'd rather take him at 25 if possible than at 17.

The only problem is that this years safety class is pretty weak. After Moehrig and Grant are off the board there's a significant drop off and neither of those guys are elite prospects. Andre Cisco is a guy I'd love in the 3rd but he's also coming off of a torn ACL and has some things he has to clean up.

The more I watch the OT Prospects, the more I’m not too impressed with the class. Love Sewell, and this is a deep OT class, but not top-heavy by any means. And this is someone who wants trenches like RT in the 1st Round.

I’ll probably be pretty underwhelmed with RT at 17. Trade down and RT at like 26 would be much better. Or perhaps take Moehrig or Farley at 17 and trade up in the 2nd for an OT. I really doubt a decent OT will fall to 48.

Greg Newsome II is someone I would not be surprised to see selected at 17 or a trade down and then picked. Ideal fit for Gus Bradley defense. Classic Mayock type of pick that would be heavily backed by Bradley. Already knows cover 3 scheme played in it at NW. Excellent footwork to go along with a nice frame that you can add on and extremely smart. Starter from day 1 opposite of Mullen.

What we know is that the Raiders wanted Mike Davis from the Chargers in FA. Think that tells you a little something imo. Raiders wanted a CB who can play opposite Mullen. When Bradley was hired I said that Arnette would move to nickle CB and that is no shade to him just feel that it would fit his skill set better and its a position that will be on the field a lot.

I think the Raiders would like Newsome more then Horn or Farley. Not saying it would happen, but 3 weeks from today and it happened I wouldn't be shocked.

I don’t think Moehrig should be considered at 17.... but if you trade back into the 25-35 range that’s the spot you pick him.
