The Death of the Packers

Recommended Posts

The Packers have gone 5-11, marking their closest season to a winning record in over a decade.

AFC Leaders: Ravens 12-4, Colts 8-8, Dolphins 8-8, Condors 12-4

NFC Leaders: Lions 12-4, Saints 10-6, Giants 11-5, Rams 10-6

Packer Stats

Jordan Love 306-442 3494 yds 16 td 13 int

AJ Dillon 215 car 567 yds 2.6 ypc 5 td

Craig Sherman 66 rec 802 yds 4 td

Bud Rich 57 rec 621 yds 3 td (In only 10 games)

Lucas Tripp 45 rec 577 yds 3 td (not bad for a player that didn’t play last year)

John Jacobs 4 sacks

Daevon Barnes 5.5 sacks

Rookie ROLB Jahlil Thomas 6 sacks 2 int

NFL Stat Leaders

Passing

Dom Patterson 4531 yds 38 td 10 int

Patrick Mahomes 4446 yds 37 td 9 int

Aaron Rodgers 4388 yds 29 td 8 int

Khalil Tate 4246 yds 32 td 10 int

Jalen Hurts 4191 yds 35 td 14 int

And yet again Pat Mahomes goes all out despite me thinking he was done two years ago. And 49 year old Aaron Rodgers is still going strong surprisingly. Wonder if he retires before 50 but probably not

Rushing

Jonathan Taylor 259 car 1339 yds 11 td

Solomon Johnson (2.3 pick 2027 Saints) 272 car 1225 yds 9 td

D!ck D!ckson 285 car 1184 yds 5 td

Tyler Antrim 267 car 1160 yds 4 td

Ray Spikes 218 car 1088 yds 10 td

Jonathan Taylor still being explosive at 32 along with Zeke Elliot and Saquon still going strong at 35/36 years old shows madden is clueless and hasn’t heard of the 30 wall. Tyler Antrim does decent in his first year out of Chicago. It’s his first 1k season with 1100+ yds but his fourth worst season in regards to receiving yards.

7 1k rushers. Soon there will be like 1

Receiving

Artaves Reed 97 rec 1414 yds 13 td

Lawrence Brackett (undrafted 2024 Redskins) 84 rec 1176 yds 11 td

DeAndre Younger (5.11 pick 2024 Colts) 105 rec 1130 yds 12 td

Edward Castille (4.22 pick 2029 Lions) 80 rec 1126 yds 11 td

Jaylen Sanborn 87 rec 1121 yds 6 td

the 2nd and 3rd wr were both 2024 guys. This is Lawrence Brackett’s first 1k season in 8 seasons, good on him for finally going Thielenesque. Edward Castille for the Lions had a touchdown every 7 catches.

12 1k receivers

Sack King:

RE KC Wilcox (1.6 pick 2026 Jets) 👑  15.0

Interception Queen:

DeMar Calvin, Cortez Murray, Carlos Farris, Shaq Matlock, Derron Tatum 5

6’5 corner Shaq Matlock was the best pick of the 2030 draft by the Seahawks and he got his first probowl this season after getting 5 ints

And my biggest nightmare has come to fruition. The ****ing Lions are in the superbowl for the first time ever. God damnit. Against the Condors, no less. What a snooze fest. The Condors won it 31-28 so at least the Lions are still historical losers

The Packers resign:

LT Carson Palmer 76 ovr norm dev 2 year deal

LOLB Paul Thompson 77 ovr norm dev 2 year

WR Bud Rich 65 ovr 1 year $20m franchise tag

Players testing free agency:

TE Lucas Tripp even though no one wanted him at 29 years old two years ago.

QB Jordan Love hits free agency again. Hopefully the Packers upgrade at qb so they’re not rolling with him again in the preseason.

Packers signings:

TE Michael Westbrook 85 ovr superstar dev 25 y/o 5 year $61M

Michael Westbrook is one of the three tight ends drafted by the Jaguars top 10 3 years in a row. He tests free agency to get a full look as a #1 TE

LOLB Tony Friedman 84 ovr Star dev 26 y/o 3 year $38m [REJECTED]

TOP SIGNINGS

TE George Kittle 38 y/o 92 ovr Vikings 2 yr $20M

the sim is so broken

LOLB Darrelle McGarity 25 y/o 89 ovr Condors 5 yr $87M

ROLB Lonnie Hall 31 y/o 85 ovr Bucs 2 yr $18m

RB Jonathan Taylor 33 y/o 85 ovr Seahawks 2 yr $15.9m

LG Chad Davis 30 y/o 85 ovr Colts 1 yr $8m

2032 NFL DRAFT

Packers select 1.3 QB Artie Bentley 71 ovr Star dev

Artie ruthlessly takes Jordan Love’s #10 jersey. Packers fans are apathetic cause Love still has at least 7 years left in him theoretically

2.3 Packers take MLB Nate Triplett 66 ovr normal dev

F on that pick lol

TOP PICKS

1.8 RB John Croom 79 ovr superstar Bengals

1.10 FS Erik Seymour 78 ovr superstar Bucs

1.11 LG James Brenner 78 ovr star Seahawks

1.5 TE Josh Pace 77 ovr Superstar xfactor Jaguars

1.6 CB Edward Poe 77 ovr superstar Steelers

Lmfao about the Jaguars taking a tight end top 5. You can’t make this stuff up.

Yet again the Seahawks prove to be absolutely dominant in the draft. They got the top WR last year, the top CB the year before, and the top RT the year before that. 4 straight years of terrific drafting.

The Packers actually hurt themselves by not sucking like usual this year. Star dev 71 ovr Bentley isn’t bad at 3 but QB Everett Bonner was taken #1 by the Eagles and he is 71 ovr with superstar xfactor traits.

The Bears did okay too, drafting superstar xfactor WR Kendall Jones at pick 28, he is 76 ovr

Packers sign QB Jordan Love in the preseason to backup rookie Artie Bentley out of Tennessee. He was signed because Tyty needed to see his stats and that’s the only way to see the stats of a free agent cause this game is ****ing retarded. Tyty also wanted Love on the roster to finish out his career but felt the packers wouldn’t draft a qb with him on the roster still.

Jordan Love - 67 ovr 33 y/o

3 seasons with less than 100 yards passing despite starting

5 seasons with 2000 or less yards

5 seasons with 3000 yards

8 seasons with double digit interceptions

30,594 career yards  156 td 122 int

His time as a starter is finally over.

The Packers had their best season in 13 or so years and finished 6-10, including a week 17 win over Chicago that knocked the Bears into 3rd place in the division. The Bears have a very, very old team, unlike real life, so them not competing this year means their reign is officially over.

AFC Leaders: Ravens 11-5, Colts 12-4, Jets 10-6, Chiefs 13-3

NFC Leaders: Lions 11-5, Falcons 11-5, Giants 8-8, 49ers 9-7

Packers stats

QB Artie Bentley 280-419 3281 yds 20 td 10 int

RB AJ Dillon 190 car 491 yds 2.6 ypc 5 td

WR Terrell Burnett (3rd round pick in 2030) 66 rec 752 yds 4 td

WR Craig Sherman 53 rec 671 yds 3 td

TE Michael Westbrook 53 rec 671 yds 5 td

I felt like I was in a time loop for a second with Craig Sherman and Michael Westbrook both having 53 rec for 671 yds lol

WR Bud Rich’s possible final season only amounted to 135 yards on 12 catches before he tore his ACL. He ends his career with 587 receptions for 6,856 yards and 43 touchdowns, which averages out to 48 rec 571 yards and 3.5 td per season, which would be okay if he was a 3rd stringer.

ROLB Jordan Love 93 tackles

RE John Jacobs (jingle Heimer Schmidt) 9 sacks

CB Zach Chatman (1st pick 2028) 6 ints

NFL STAT GODS

Passing

Patrick Mahomes 4466 yds 42 td 8 int

Dom Patterson (Browns) 4451 yds 32 td 13 int

Alfonso Bobo (1.10 2025 Bucs) 4368 yds 31 td 9 int

Nicholas Mahon (Pats) 4284 yds 30 td 13 int

Joe Burrow 4069 yds 33 td 8 int

Dom Patterson lit it up for the Patriots for years, then moves on to the Browns at 35 years old and continues to light it up. The Patriots’ 3rd round QB in 2030, Nicholas Mahon made sure the Patriots didn’t miss a beat with Patterson’s loss. Or maybe it was Bill Belichick. Of course it was Bill Belichick.

Also, Joe Burrow finally cracks the top 5 list at 35 years old, but that’s not to say he wouldn’t have made the top ten list if there was one. Give the guy a break, he plays for the Bengals

Rushing

Donald Tyler (Vikings) 249 car 1372 yds 11 td

D!ck D!ckson (49ers) 295 car 1128 yds 8 td

Teddy Ferrell (UNDR 2026 Panthers) 262 car 1077 yds 8 td

Normal Logan (2.4 pick 2023 Lions) 283 car 1075 yds 13 td

Kirkland Locker (3.28 pick 2030 Ravens) 272 car 1057 yds 7 td

Another horrible year for sim stats lol. Tyler Antrim of the Giants only had 600 yards this year but also only played 10 games. Ray Spikes of the Cardinals had a horrible year with only 500 yards but also only played 11 games. Kirkland Locker goes over 1k in Spikes’ absence but only averaged 3.9 ypc which was the league wide average for everyone not named Donald Tyler

Receiving

Tevaughn Peele (1.4 pick 2027 Bengals) 85 rec 1262 yds 9 td

Lance Conner (1.3 pick 2028 Rams) 81 rec 1162 yds 6 td

Jabari Young (5.14 pick 2024 Browns) 113 rec 1152 yds 4 td

Evan Moore (5.24 pick 2025 Jets) 67 rec 1067 yds 9 td

Devin Holliday (1.21 pick 2032 Chiefs) 77 rec 1063 yds 15 td

Jabari Young is an interesting story as he was unable to make a team his first four years, played one year, missed the next and then slowly progressed to a 113 catch 1152 yard season.

My fav guy, Artaves Reed kinda sucked this year with only 700 yds in 12 games before partially tearing his ACL. I was stressing a bit when I saw he wasn’t on the top list and had been supplanted by his backup somehow.

Interesting that the top two, and the next two top guys were kinda twins. Top 4 picks in back to back years and then 5th rounders in back to back years

Tackle Pauper:

DJ Booth 137 tackles

Sack King:

DT Bradley McBride (1.11 pick 2025 Vikings) 👑 16.0

Interception Queen:

CB Trayvon Rayford (5.21 pick 2025 Falcons) 👸 7

Packers’ very own Zach Chatman was #2 with 6

SB 68 in 2033 is the Colts and Falcons. The Colts have standout QB Joe Hoffman and a solid SS but suck everywhere else. The Falcons have the ever youthful Aaron Rodgers, who is literally 50 years old now. The Falcons have a stacked defense so in a realistic world they would decimate the Colts but who knows with madden. The Falcons indeed do win it 31-28, making Aaron Rodgers a super bowl champion for the first time in 23 seasons lmao

Well thank god. I was worried the Packers only good player CB Zach Chatman would do the only logical thing and leave but the Packers conned him into staying with a 5 year $87M deal. He’s 27 years old and 87 ovr.

The Packers decided to let WR Craig Sherman walk. He was expected to have a breakout season but had one of his worst years as a pro.

Packers resign 79 ovr SS Eugene Knight to a 3 year $12m deal. The 26 year old was drafted in the 7th round in 2029.

The Packers are letting the 27th overall pick in the 2029 draft, CB Damarius Eloms walk. He sucked.

34 year old QB Jordan Love was offered a 1 year $550k contract, which he declined.

Packers signings:

CB Jeff Okudah 34 y/o 88 ovr 1 yr $15.3M

LG Jarrad O’Neil 33 y/o 81 ovr 1 yr $6.1M

RG Eli Kennard 32 y/o 81 ovr 1 yr $7.5M

LG Chris Martin 32 y/o 80 ovr 1 yr $5.2M

CB Darrell Farrell 30 y/o 77 ovr 1 yr $2.6M

League Top Signings:

ROLB Torrian Godwin 30 y/o Bears 90 ovr

Didnt I just complain about the Bears never doing anything ever in madden like last season

RE Quentin Saunders 31 y/o Redskins 89 ovr

CB Jeff Okudah 34 y/o Packers 88 ovr

WR Craig Sherman 27 y/o Broncos 86 ovr

maybe I shouldn’t have let him go

RB D!ck D!ckson 30 y/o Eagles 82 ovr

one of my fav names in madden history, be well

The GM told me John Jacobs shouldn’t be picked up on a 5th year option cause he offered nothing but he had 9 sacks and no one else had even 5 lol. I’m never letting this dude go or my name isn’t John Jacob Jingle Heimer Schmidt

2033 NFL DRAFT

Packers 1.7 MLB Daniel Gentry 74 ovr superstar

well that’s a first

2.7 WR Ronnell Benson 69 ovr normal

Packers essentially lose Bud Rich but replace him with him.

Best Drafted:

1.3 SS Terrell Coakley Bills 80 ovr superstar X factor

A. That’s one of the best players I’ve ever seen in madden drafts, god dang. B. I went to look at his hidden dev traits and it said he’s already -1 overall from morale for joining the Bills lmao

1.1 CB Sean Bennett Dolphins 79 ovr superstar

Man can you imagine a CB going first overall? If you can, I’m sure the team you pictured doing it would be the Dolphins, right? It had to be the Dolphins

1.2 DT Sean Hopkins Patriots 76 ovr Star

Sean Hopkins cannot tell you how tired he is with being confused for the medical school John Hopkins.

1.23 QB Rich Ainsworth Jaguars 76 ovr Star

I am beside myself with grief, alongside Jaguars fans probably that the Jaguars didn’t take a TE here. But it’s probably best they didn’t since all the TE’s suck

1.8 LE Adrian De La Rosa Browns 76 ovr star

Adrian De La Rosa is stoked that he’ll be able to pay his bills now by himself without having to worry about scalping his cousin Zack de la Rocha’s concert tickets

this thread is dying unless the packers start winning

Let him keep doing it.  He doesn’t realize that if you tempt the cosmos with football, you have 1,000 fold done unto you.  Even I don’t make the Bears fail when I play Madden and I force them into winning games to be realistic.  He’s doomed the Bears to a decade of incompetence and blessed the Packers with a decade of excellence.

The Packers don’t know how to stop standing on their head and go 4-12. The Lions lead the division again so I’m considering nuking them. The 51 year old Aaron Rodgers led Falcons led them to a league leading 13 win season.

AFC Leaders: Ravens 10-6, Colts 12-4, Jets 9-7, Condors 10-6

NFC Leaders: Lions 10-6, Falcons 13-3, Redskins 10-6, Cardinals 10-6

packers stats:

QB Artie Bentley 99.6 QBR 3634 yds 22 td 11 int 42 sacks 70% comp

Bentley improves slightly from his rookie season by jumping his QBR up 3 points and his completion percentage up 4

RB AJ Dillon 185 car 448 yds 2.4 ypc 4 td

not great but not bad for his 15th season

WR Terrell Burnett 70 rec 877 yds 5 td

WR Ronnell Benson 77 rec 840 yds 4 td

TE Michael Westbrook 64 rec 752 yds 4 td

I have no idea who Terrell Burnett is so he might get dealt for a draft pick. Rookie second rounder Benson had an okay season for a #2 and former Jaguar phenom Westbrook did pretty decent

DE John Jacobs (Jingle Heimer Schmidt) 8 sacks

ROLB Jahlil Thomas 93 tackles

 CB Jeff Okudah 3 int

NFL Stat Gods

Passing

Pat Mahomes 4317 yds 36 td 10 int

Eric Lippett (Browns 3.17 2026) 4226 yds 25 td 8 int

Joe Hoffman (Colts 3.1 2026) 4073 yds 34 td 9 int

Jalen Hurts 4024 yds 35 td 10 int

Ryan Stuber (Steelers 3.18 pick 2028) 4013 yds 30 td 14 int

39 year old Patrick Mahomes has to be calling it quits here at 39, this sim won’t recognize a 40 year old not named Aaron Rodgers. He’s 85 overall at this point. The top 5 category was dominated by former 3rd round picks, meaning the NFL has flipped on its axis and decided you can plug and play any qb you get at any time like it decided with running backs in the 2010s

Rushing

Kirkland Locker (Ravens) 278 car 1257 yds 5 td

Tyler Antrim (Giants) 236 car 1151 yds 14 td

Ray Spikes (Cardinals) 271 car 1110 yds 7 td

John Croom (Bengals) 290 car 1099 yds 7 td

Landon Cromartie (Raiders) 280 car 1086 yds 10 td

I was starting to think Ray Spikes’ reign in Baltimore was a smokeshow with Locker excelling now, but Spikes is still doing decent in Arizona. Antrim ends #2 on the list, expectedly so as he’s the #1 back in the league (why did you let him go Chicago).

7 1k rushers

Receiving

Clifford Dixon (Condors) 95 rec 1244 yds 11 td

Devin Holiday (Chiefs) 77 rec 1171 yds 10 td

Jordan Drake (Dolphins) 87 rec 1093 yds 10 td

DeAndre Younger (Browns) 83 rec 1084 yds 8 td

Curtis Logan (Eagles) 74 rec 1041 yds 6 td

Curtis Logan is a wonderbread WR that looks like Wolverine and could easily become a trucker and disappear and no one would notice. He was a first round pick but I wish he’d been Undrafted cause it would be so much funnier if he was a trucker that got kidnapped by the NFL and he just wants nothing more than to walk away and go back to driving logs across Canada.

Meanwhile, my boi Artaves Reed of the Chiefs continues to be a **** up, I expected great things of him as a 1 but only went for 845 yds and 10 td. He is 93 ovr but doesn’t play like it and only has 2-3 more years of having the potential to be a top guy. His backup Devin Holliday might be the true next big thing I guess.

Also, Jags #1 TE Dale Nawrath was just 140 yds from breaking 1k. I believe in the Jaguars TE committee

11 1k receivers

Tackle Peasant:

MLB Mike Walker (Broncos 2.13 2027) 🤡 147 (78 ovr normal)

Sack King:

LOLB Michael Minter (Ravens 1.18 2028) 👑 17.0 (97 ovr X-factor)

Interception Queen:

William Edmonds (Redskins 1.12 2027) 👸 8 (88 ovr star)

There was zero KR or PR tds so I wonder if Goodell just burned special teams to the ground

SB 69 in 2034 is brought to you by Rob Gronkowski. It features the Colts and Giants. Colts are headed by star QB Joe Hoffman and Giants headed by MSU QB Jim Graves and the love of my life Tyler Antrim. Theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Colts won 34/38

The Packers opted to resign 2nd round pick in 2030, Daevon Barnes. He hasn’t done much at 81 ovr star dev. They’ve let the 13 36 year old linemen they signed last season walk cause the local retirement home has openings. They also let Terrell Burnett walk cause who the **** is he. They resign 77 ovr LT Carson Palmer, 74 ovr CB Darrell Farrell, 61 ovr ROLB Jordan Love, and 62 ovr QB Bob McDaniel strictly because of their names.

In free agency, they sign:

RG James Olsen 84 ovr norm 4 yr $29m

CB Malachi Beckham 82 ovr norm 3 yr $32m

RT Austin Hart 78 ovr norm 1 yr $5m

D!ckbag WR Amare Nance (86 ovr) decided to sign elsewhere

Top signings:

RG Pearson Jackson 90 ovr Condors

SS Willis Bentley 86 ovr Ravens

WR Amare Nance 86 ovr Texans

DT Freddie Winters 85 ovr Cardinals

2034 NFL Draft:

Packers select

1.1 RB DJ Smith 70 ovr superstar. Wupfh

2.1 WR Deion Nash 68 ovr star

3.1 CB John Barber 66 ovr normal

Best selections

1.21 DT Tyrus Locke 78 ovr Jags X factor

1.2 CB Arkemus McIntyre 77 ovr Eagles Star

1.4 SS Vernon McLean 77 ovr Steelers Star

1.5 DT Nicholas Bush 77 ovr Bucs superstar

1.28 DT Josiah Miller 77 ovr Falcons Star

Packers screwed the pooch with that rb when straight up every other top 5 pick was gold
