Now in terms drama, OMG that was the sh**. To me with the desire of Frank Slade to have a woman in his life and how the movie ended, it was great. Much less that amazing dance scene in the film and how he coached Charlie through it all, and his outwardly attraction to the opposite sex despite his disability. To me it was totally a romantic movie. Drama also sure but with how it ended with Frank getting the girl, or at least a shot at her, and the motivations he had to do so, yes I would call it a romance. How does anyone like it? 10 things I hate about you might be the best thing I've ever watched in this genre. period. Was a decent unique story in You've Got Mail but if we are going only romantic comedies, 10 Things I hate About You is a better movie and is more original.
